Serving the industry since 1914

The company people think of today as Cobb is nearly 100 years old, founded in 1914 as a linotyping company. We have seen it all - hot metal, phototype, digital and laser typography, film preparation and color separation, and now printing.

Over the years we've grown, widened our range of graphic arts services, acquired related businesses and started a company or two. We've been known to various groups of customers by such names as Cobb Type, Fraternity Mailing, Printing Plus, Saratoga Printing and few others. No matter the name, what has remained the same is our determination to satisfy our customers' expectations.

Now, as our new logotype says, we are simply... THE COBB GROUP

Innovation - as typesetters, we were first in the area with laser typography, the areas first Desktop Publishing Center - as printers, one of the first digital print suppliers. Our equipment list will demonstrate our commitment to offering many services under "one roof" in an effort to meet the needs of our customers.

Our pursuit of new technology will not diminish as we move along toward our 100th anniversary.

One sort of technology we have yet to acquire is voice mail. Currently, only live people answer our phones - the same people who'll answer your questions or make you feel welcome if you come by for a visit and tour our facility - a one time movie theater converted into a facility fitting together all the graphic services called THE COBB GROUP.

Now, how can we help you?
